Roxanne Mankin Cason

Cason is a recognized catalyst for systemic change, particularly in women’s rights, education, and sustainability. With over 20 years in commercial real estate, she turned her focus to empowering and educating girls globally. As Chair/CEO of the Cason Family Foundation, she led efforts to develop literacy and fund education for girls in Upper Egypt, underwrote health programs in Liberia, and improved youth employment in the Middle East, collaborating with leaders like President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Queen Rania of Jordan.

Cason also pioneered financial empowerment programs for women, creating one of the first courses on money management at UC Berkeley. Her work in sustainability includes founding Sustainable Waste Resources International and collaborating with the World Bank to create a taxonomy of waste. She has served in leadership roles, including Chair of the Women’s Leadership Board at Harvard Kennedy School. Currently, she consults on strategic growth and innovation, with a focus on AI in healthcare.
